Irena Teague

Growing up, Irena always loved all things beauty - fashion, makeup, and hair. When she discovered her love for cutting and coloring hair, she dove in head first and began doing all her friends' and family's hair, as well as experimenting on her own. After graduation in 2015, she started her cosmetology career at Regency Beauty Institute in Pasadena, Texas. After their nation-wide shutdown in 2016, she enrolled at Paul Mitchell the School in Webster, Texas, where she was given much more creative freedom and really found her love of vivid coloring, and creative cuts. She received her cosmetology license in July of 2017, and immediately began working behind the chair, striving to learn and improve every day. In October of 2018, she decided that her passion had outgrown the salon she had been working at, and Serendipity Hair Studio was born. Irena has always believed in quality service over quantity, and the ability to give clients a personalized one-on-one experience, over rushing through services, and risking sacrificing quality, and client's happiness. The private studio setting at Serendipity Hair Studio provides the opportunity for exactly that. Irena hopes to one day expand Serendipity to a full-size salon, with multiple like-minded stylists, all working towards providing truly quality, creative services to even more people.
